Were you ever at a crossroads – the kind where you are anxious and uncertain about if you really know what you are doing, knowing how important that decision you make is?
It’s not the nicest experience.
Crossroads that will have life-changing effects, problems that can impact your health and security as well as those people you really care about, seem to naturally come with being alive.
There is the saying “that’s the way life is”, which you may have been told once or twice, when things didn’t go your way.
Is it though? Does that really have to be the way it is?
It doesn’t.
No standard schooling system actually teaches us how to predict and control these situations.
For example, we aren’t taught how the mind works so that we can know for sure who will have our back when things go bad at work versus who will stick it to us so that they look good in the end.
We aren’t taught how to actually increase our IQ so that we can be more successful.
We aren’t taught how to maintain good relationships with others and what to do when things turn sour with one… or two… maybe more.
Yet in many ways a happy life relies on good relationships – in marriage, family, work, clubs, sports teams.
Happiness isn’t so high on the scale when life gets a bit too rough.
But what if you knew how to change it? What if you did get taught what causes what in this world and why? What if you could raise your IQ?
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SCIENTOLOGY?
Scientology is about life. It is about what happiness and success you can create in your life because you have been taught not only the rules but what the game of life is all about so that you can play it to win.
It deals with people, problems, relationships, improving the mind, increasing self-confidence, it teaches life skills and more.
Scientology does not deal with insanity or great illness. It increases your ability to know and therefore to do.
In turn, the greater your ability to know and do, the greater your chances of true success and happiness.
Life can be tough at times. So many decisions to make and problems to deal with.
In those moments you want to do what’s best for yourself or for all involved.
You need to know answers. The right answers.
To really know how to know answers requires the exact, right kind of education and skill. It takes ability and that is what Scientology does. It builds on your ability so that you can know and achieve things in life as you want.
Scientology has been around for quite a while now. It has been proving its trustworthiness and workability, for over 65 years.
Over this time, it has helped people worldwide, providing them with answers and solutions to the many, varied problems they face and mistakes they make, complex relationship issues, personal insecurities and stresses they have in their lives.
What you learn from Scientology is not some dreamed up theory, it is a culmination of long-term studies and research, that were carried out with a compassionate desire, ultimately to help mankind, beginning first with discovering the true meaning and purpose of life.
Those years of extensive study, coupled with the use of successful scientific research methods brought to light the following principles:
People ARE basically good.
Ability and IQ can be improved – people can change for the better.
There is an apparent cycle of action in life that encompasses creation, survival and destruction. There is an actual cycle of action that is necessary to understand, fundamental to all wellbeing.
All life is trying to survive.
You, all of us, are trying to achieve the highest level of survival for the longest length of time possible and ideally with the greatest amount of happiness as we see it.
Our determination to live as best we can; very often in our own ways, with our own beliefs and guidelines as to what is most right, is common to all of us.
The desire to “make it” is deeply embedded in all life.
The way in which our survival is approached, can be studied and learned as a separation into of 8 parts.
These components of life are called The 8 Dynamics.
These parts combined define our urge toward existence – they are how we aim to do our best to survive.
The first dynamic is all about your individuality. It is your effort to be an individual, to be “you”. This would include what makes up your personality, your interests and goals.
The second dynamic is the urge toward survival as a sexual activity. This dynamic has two divisions. They are:
(a) the sexual act itself.
(b) the family unit, including the rearing of children.
The third dynamic is the urge to survive as part of a group. This could be a sports group, political group, town, school, social group, any kind of group whether it is temporary or permanent.
The fourth dynamic is the subject of mankind. One race would be considered a Third Dynamic. All races combined would make up mankind – the Fourth Dynamic.
The fifth dynamic is the urge toward existence by way of the animal kingdom. This includes all living things, such as insects, animals, sea creatures, flowers, grass, trees, or anything directly motivated by life.
The sixth dynamic is the urge toward existence as the physical universe. The physical universe is composed of Matter, Energy, Space and Time.
The seventh dynamic is the urge toward existence as or of spirits. Anything spiritual, with or without identity, would come under the heading of the Seventh Dynamic. This can be called the Spiritual Dynamic.
The eighth dynamic is the urge toward existence as infinity. This is also identified as the Supreme Being. This is called the Eighth Dynamic because the symbol of infinity, ∞, stood upright makes the numeral 8.
If you glance over your life, as you briefly look over these dynamics again, you can notice how they fit into your livingness and to what degree.
There is more information to be learned about The Dynamics in books such as “Scientology, Fundamentals of Thought”.
A necessary principle to full understanding of how to effectively control and live life is that you are a spirit, a mind and a body.
If you are wondering how this can be determined as true, then do this:
Sit down in a chair.
Answer this question: “What is looking at the cat?”
You are – the spirit.
“You may have been taught that the mind, spirit and life are very difficult things to know about.
This is the first principle of Scientology: It is possible to know about the mind, the spirit and life.”
L. Ron Hubbard
These are a few of the principles of Scientology.
There are several books and workshops available that go into more detail and give greater understanding.
Scientology can be learned. This advanced knowledge of life and living has been developed so that it can be studied, practiced and applied.
If you are wanting to find out if real improvement is truly possible, or if you need to make lasting changes in your life, then a study of solutions available in Scientology is worth looking at.
Through your own learning, observation and analysing, you can decide for yourself what is true for you. You can work out for yourself which of the answers available will help you in your life. You can get skilled and knowledgeable enough to create success from what you find out.
The principles and discoveries of Scientology have been made available so that you can achieve greater wellbeing. You may as well give it a go.
